All fees are payable to Family First Alaska via CHECK, CASH, or CREDIT CARD and must be paid IN ADVANCE of a schedule supervised visit. No services will be performed unless the fees for those services are paid in full prior to the services being provided. Note: Holidays are charged at a premium rate.
Fees vary depending on Court Order, number of children, travel time, and special circumstances. See below for details.
A twenty-four (24) hour cancellation notification is required. Failure to cancel within the 24-hour window will result in assessment of full fees for the missed/late-cancelled visit. The full payment for the missed/late-cancelled visit must be paid prior to the start of the next scheduled visit by the parent who missed or was late to cancel the visit.
If either parent is more than 15 minutes late for a supervised visit, the Monitor may, at his or her sole discretion, cancel the visit. Full visit fees shall be assessed and must be paid in full by the tardy parent prior to the start of the next scheduled visit.
Intake occurs after both parents agree to meet separately with the monitor. The monitor will meet in person to go over the visitation guidelines and policies with each parent separately. An intake fee of $35 per parent is due prior to the scheduled intake interview.
Court ordered (or agreed upon by both parties/attorneys) supervised visitation is the contact between a parent and a child in the presence of a neutral third party responsible for observing and maintaining the safety of those involved.
Family First Alaska offers off-site supervised visitations, which are visits that are done within the community. Visit sites have to be agreed upon by both parents and the monitor, and follow Court Orders. Supervised Visits are $40 per hour and are due in full prior to the scheduled visit. Additional fees will apply if the child is transported by the Visitation Supervisor. Please ask for details. An administrative fee of $7.00 per visit shall apply.
Supervised Exchange is the supervision of the transfer of the child from one parent to the other. The custodial parent takes the child to a location where the child is entrusted with a monitor. The custodial parent leaves and the noncustodial parent picks up the child 15 minutes later at the same location. The visitation exchanges are set up in a manner to where the parents do not have to interact with one another. Supervised Exchanges are $25 per exchange.
Sometimes the monitor will pick up the child from the Custodial Parent's home and transport the child to where the other parent is. Additional transportation fees will apply if the monitor transports the child. Contact us for details.
Supervised Exchange usually takes place when there is a restraining order, or when the parent's conflict jeopardizes the child's emotional well-being. It also allows for the parents to begin their separate healing and move on from the old relationship.
Visitation Monitors shall prepare Reports following every Supervised Visit and, upon request, electronic copies shall be provided to the Parents, Attorneys. An administrative fee of $7.00 per supervised visit shall be assessed to the client.
Visitation Monitors shall appear as witnesses in legal proceedings when subpoenaed. Please contact us for fee information relating to court/deposition appearances by Visitation Monitors.
